About us - GodFest

The GODFEST CHRISTIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL commenced in Taree, New South Wales, in 1999. It ran an annual, week-long, Christian Music and Art Festival attracting artists from throughout Australia.
In 2007 it became apparent that the soaring costs of public liability insurance made it no longer viable to continue.

Due to the support of many and a special testamentary bequest received from a local person, the GODFEST FOUNDATION was born.
GODFEST is a registered business name of TAREE CHRISTIAN MUSIC FESTIVAL INC., an Association incorporated under the NSW Associations Incorporation Act, administered by NSW Fair Trading. It is also a Not for Profit Charity registered by the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

The GODFEST FOUNDATION now has small funding grants available to assist in the development of Christian Ministry outreach initiatives. The Board places emphasis on the encouragement of youth activities, and in particular those which benefit disadvantaged youth.
